Description
Painting Seascapes can be a rewarding experience. When you look out to sea, we sometimes see the ocean swells as big gently rolling forms that tend to raise and lower anything riding on it's surface. As these gentle giants move closer and closer to the shallow shores, the swells start to crest creating foam which rains down on the incoming side and flattens out as it moves up the beach until the power behind it diminishes and returns back to the open sea. Here we see a breaking waves foaming white water moving swiftly toward a group of rocks in the foreground. Receding water from the previous waves quickly moving back to sea meet the incoming water creating turbulence among the rocky outcrop.
The original painting measures 9" x 12" on 140 LB Arches acid free paper.
