Once again, NOT everyone's idea of a day at the beach but another in the having fun painting...(my coined phrase for this type of work is Nudling, pronounced:noodling"). The actual beach is Moshup on Martha's Vineyard below the cliffs of Gayhead. Here again, liberties were taken. At the entrance to the beach, most of the swimmers are clad, and there are a lot of families with young children. Down the beach, off to the right, though, the scene quickly changes. The farther down the beach you go, the more you're apt to run into "Noodles".
This one was also done with some discretion and a little humor. Look closely at the two figures in the center. The lady has binoculars and she is looking out to sea. Or perhaps she is looking out to "see" whom ever is looking at the folks "nudling" on the beach...while clad and unclad alike walks past them and up the beach where those who "dare, go bare".
