Here we have a commercial fishing vessel making it's way out to sea as the incoming surf builds with every breaking wave that comes ashore. As the surf pounds and the skies get heavy with rain clouds, coastal fishing fleets weather these seas with the expectation of filling their holds with enough to warrant the expected rough trip to the fishing bank.
The original painting measures 9" x 12" on 140 LB Arches acid free paper.
