Our puppies have always been featured on our Christmas cards. It was decided by my wife that Dobby, our Chihuahua, should be illustrated skating around the pond. I thought her inability to hold up on skates would make a more memorable piece so here she is with legs apart and a "What Do I I Get MYself Into Now?" look of her face.

This was a fun painting to do. Getting her to pose for this was obviously impossible. I had to work off a number of different photos of her in a bunch of different positions to work out the final illustration. By alas came the piece I titled, "Dobby On Ice!"
