Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This is a 1/2 sheet transparent watercolor of a look at Animal Kingdom in Florida. This was done as a demonstration to show how to put figures in a landscape. I eliminated most of the people and designed the piece as a vignette.
