This is a piece I did as a demo for the wonderful group of artists at the Weston COA, Weston, MA today. My reference was a photo that I shot of a dull, flat boring newly constructed brown barn with several barn doors and one silo. It was photographed against a field of summer green trees and hills. The objective was to paint a fresh, vibrant painting that showed artistic vision and originality in color, temperature and value using a loose wet-in-wet technique.
