Description
When looking at Pot-Pouri you come to understand some of the general buying habits in the Middle East. This is a typical souk...a market place. Merchants carry a wide assortment of products from rugs to vegetables. Many people who visit Middle Eastern countries enjoy the experience of visiting souks to soak in the local culture.
The term �souk� is also used to describe a specific stall or cart in a market. Here you can purchase artisan items like wood carvings, jewelry and the �Pot- Pourri�of �Stuff� like the copper, brass and metal wares depicted here and who's prices are always �Negotiable�.
Pot-Pourii has taken a number of awards in �Juried Shows� including First Place in Watercolor in the Duxbury Art Association's 26th Annual Winter Juried Show held at the Art Complex Museum, Duxbury, Massachusetts.
