This is a quick study on painting palm trees with as little detail as possible. Leaving the white of the paper for the sky and the sand was done to insure this piece have a feeling of a bright sunny day. These trees are tall and graceful with leafy fronds and always associated with sun, white sandy beaches and a relaxing tropical lifestyle. I guess I've had a little to much snow this year.
