Looking from the beach of Provincetown's extreme East End we see a field of marsh grass as we view the homes that line Commercial Street. I specifically decided not to accentuate the marsh grass. I kept it loose and impressionistic. I wanted to bring the viewers eye to the homes that lined the shore. If you look close, we can see two people standing on the deck of the house close to the right of the painting as they overlook the marsh to the distant sea.
