This is a view of Old Point Loma Lighthouse. I was stationed and lived for a number of years in San Diego and Old Point Loma Lighthouse was the very first lighthouse I painted.
Not this view mind you but it was the first. I was told that this lighthouse is for tourists now and the New Lighthouse at the bottom of the cliff is the one in operation.This is a painting that's going to my close friend who, over the years has invested in a number of my paintings. Thank you my dear friend and one time shipmate.
