Artist's Description
We see these massive waves from time to time in New England but mostly on the North Shore, or along the Maine Coast. This painting is neither. As I sat with my wife on Plymouth's Long Beach I started to imagine what if....what if the waves were larger...well, some time in the past they had to be -- after all, the massive surf did totally destroy "Berts Landing Restaurant" on Plymouth's Long Beach -- and more than once. A Nor'easter pounded the beach in 2010, 2013 and 2015 however those storms were gray and dismal . Since I am the artist, I used my artistic license to paint it the way I would have liked to have seen it.
