Artist's Description
One of these mail boxes was mine a few years back. Maybe a little more than a few years. I had occupied space in an old mill on the Jones River for a number of years where I had my office and studio and this is how I sent and received my mail.
I did a watercolor sketch of this and posted it earlier. I liked the subject and decided to do a larger close up of the old postal boxes without the building. As you can see-- with all the snow piled up, these mail drops are hard to access without trudging through the show bank. The scene is real -- The piece is priced without mats and UNFRAMED.
