Somewhere along the New England coast is a road similar to the gated shore road in this painting. Perhaps it leads to a once secluded and very private residence. Do we know for sure? As the years past, the road seems to have been less traveled. The Iron gates are now stuck in the open position and seem to invite those of us in to view a property once kept in pristine condition.
