his piece could be considered a companion piece to the Shield Boats painting I have offered as well. Either piece will show beautifully on its own, or would look great side by side on a wall. Done in acrylic and watercolor, this painting shows two sailboats close to the wind. You get a wonderful sense of the movement of the water and the boats as you view this painting. The bright colors evoke a perfect sailing day off the coast of New England.
