This work was a class project where I teach at the Plymouth Center for the Arts. It's done on print paper with a yellowish tint. The idea was to incorporate a couple of boats and the light house into one painting. The view is looking toward the shoreline of Duxbury Massachusetts in the background. The idea behind doing this as a class project was to instruct students to build characteristic shapes that are convincing to the audience and to hold the viewers attention using direction.
