Enchanted Waters Canvas Print

As I reflect on this piece, I can help but think of the serene brooks and waterways found all over the the world. The idea for this painting started from a reference photo of a brook close to my home on the South Coast of Massachusetts.

The reference was just that...a brook.
I put in the bridge as a focal point for your eyes and then...
decided to change the theme entirely.

A few palm like trucks, some tall palm like foliage, fallen branches and roots of trees hanging over the water from the banks along with a lone stilted bird on the end of the thick fallen branch in the foreground and behold...

a scene out of the swamps and byways of places south of the Carolina's.
