For all the years that I passed this building on my way to an from my home, I finally looked at it as an opportunity to record a painterly version of The Department of Public Works. Three quarters of the building's brick work is covered in red ivy creating a majestic precedence against the seasonal fall foliage that surround it. It's almost as if the old structure is saying, " hay, look at me... I'm something else in my cloak of red colors!"
